Cam-Grid® metal conveyor belts are our most popular, adaptable spiral cage systems belts. They’ve proven themselves in applications throughout the world. With their positive conveyor sprocket drive, Cam-Grid belts provide a smooth, continuous product flow, gentle with fragile or delicate products. They save money by protecting product quality and reducing waste. Cam-Grid can be manufactured with a double pitch overlay, or with plastic filler rods or strips for supporting small products.

Rods-Only Construction: Provides maximum air circulation, making these Cam-Grid conveyor belts ideal for cookers, proofers and freezers in bakeries. They are also suitable for other applications such as freezing of larger cuts of meat and poultry, and products in trays or packages where minimal product support is required. Mesh overlays constructed with spring temper stainless steel, aids in damage resistance

Mesh Overlay: When product support or smaller openings are needed, a balanced weave mesh overlay to the conveyor belt is added. This maintains flexibility while adapting the belt for applications such as freezing soft dough products, beef patties, fish sticks and other prepared products.

Solutions

A manufacturer was having trouble with their existing plastic belt. It couldn't retain the product and had small BB's going through Liquid Nitrogen. We got the information needed to devise a solution and worked through out the tough process and issues that they had. We were able to succesfully design a flighted Camgrid mesh overlay and resolved their issue.
