Details

These straight-line belts are the optimal choice for friction driven conveyors. With alternating right and left hand spiral construction and endless customization options, Cambridge’s balanced weave belts deliver better stability, heavier loads and increased surface area. Balanced weave belts are often the heart and soul of many bakeries and snack food operations.

Balanced belting: An economical weave with high tensile strength and minimal tendency to track to either side of the drive pulley make this belt suitable for many applications.

Double-Balanced belts: Consist of pairs of interlaced right- and left-hand spirals, suitable for ambient medium- and high-temperature applications.

Gratex: Similar to balanced belting more closely wound spirals and a straight rod connector produces a stronger, semi-closed mesh ideal for carrying small parts and heavy loads.

Duplex: Close mesh with a smooth carrying surface suited for carrying small parts or those susceptible to marking. Woven in pairs of spirals, the mesh is reinforced with a rod through the hinging point and has high strength.

Solutions
A large commercial bakery switched to Cambridge CB5 Baking Bands and saw immediate improvements in belt tracking and performance. The Cambridge belt also had a signifi cantly longer service life.
